What's it all about?
This event is an opportunity to take part in a new Body and Mind exercise.
For one and a half hours take the time to immerse yourself in a practice that will help you improve your mobility, flexibility, strength and calm and centre you, helping you to let go of physical and emotional stress and tensions.
KoDo brings together the best elements of Qigong, Tai Chi, Mindfulness and Resistance Band routines in an Interval Training format which is suitable for beginners to those who are regulars at Yoga or the Gym.
On the day you'll be able to take part in KoDo 10 which includes 5 slow and gentle movements in the first segment, and 5 stretching and flexibility movements in the second segment, ending with Mindfulness meditation to relax and soothe at the end.
There will be time for a Q and A afterwards if there's anything else you'd like to know, and everyone will have the opportunity to sign up as a member at the end of the session with our discounted membership specifically for those attending this event.
What you'll need
A drink to stay hydrated. Mats are provided however if you have your own please bring it to ensure that everyone can enjoy the same experience. We suggest bringing a towel or blanket too
Please wear clothing you can easily move in, as a sign of respect to the venue we will be practicing in bare feet.
The Worl Healing Centre is located on Lytham Road next to where Aronold School used to be with Buses 5 and 11 stopping right outside the centre. On street parking is also available.
Please note that to help promote our work in the local community and demonstrate to funders the impact we are having in the local community there will be photography at the event, which will be shared with the World Healing Centre.
