Go KoDo in the Park

About the Event
What's it all about?
KoDo in the Park is an opportunity to take part in a new Body and Mind exercise.
For one and a half hours take the time to immerse yourself in a practice that will help you improve your mobility, flexibility, strength and calm and centre you, helping you to let go of physical and emotional stress and tensions.
KoDo brings together the best elements of Qigong, Tai Chi, Mindfulness and Resistance Band routines in an Interval Training format which is suitable for beginners to those who are regulars at Yoga or the Gym.
On the day you'll be able to take part in KoDo 15 which includes slow and gentle movements in the first segment, stretching and flexibility movements in the second segment, and more challenging and muscle strengthening movements in the last segment, ending with Mindfulness meditation to relax and soothe at the end.
What you'll need
A drink to stay hydrated, your own Mat, blanket or towel to place on the grass for the end meditation to lay down on.
Trainers and clothing you can move easily in are required too.
Gynn Gardens are a great location with a Car Park just over the road which you'll need a parking ticket for. Otherwise if you don't drive the number 1, 3 and 4 busses and Tram stop within the shortest walk ever.
We all know what the weather can be like in this country. If it has been raining the day before the event will not be taking place. You will be contacted by text message on Friday night to let you know if it has been cancelled as the grass will be too wet to safely exercise on.
