What is KoDo
The name KoDo is taken from two Japanese words. Kokoro meaning whole person, mindy and body. And Doteki meaning dynamic movement.
The practice, developed by Paul Shanahan incorporates a range of exercise movements, breathwork and meditations that he has learned over the course of 10 years and developed into an interval training system which helps you progressively improve your health, fitness and wellbeing.
KoDo Yin is a slower and more breath focused practice blending together movements based on the ancient styles of Mindfulness, Tai Chi and Qigong with Low Intensity Interval Training proven to offer many health benefits including improved mobility, flexibility, joint health, relieving back pain, depression and anxiety.
KoDo Yang focuses much more on movement, also blending together the ancient styles of Mindfulness, Tai Chi and Qigong with Low Intensity Interval Training with the additional use of resistance bands, helping you to focus on improving your overall and core strength in addition to improving mobility, flexibility, joint health, alleviating back pain, depression and anxiety.
